I'm writing the follow-up.

The State Attorney Office rejected the complaint for keeping Marko in prison until the investigation is over, so he will stay locked up at the very least until the 3rd of January. They're in the process of deciding how long they will keep him.

What can be done now, and should be priority now, as we talked about, is media pressure. Public awareness of injustice and terror. I am going to present some options for actions.

1. ASKING ABOUT THE CASE

The governing body in charge of the investigation is The State Attorney's Office, an independent and autonomous judicial body. They have their spokesperson who can give out the formal report on the case.

One can call or email The State Attorney's Office and ask for a spokesperson who speaks English, to ask them for information like: why is Marko Franciškovic in prison, under what accusation, how long, and so on. They are going to give very little info, but the point is that they know that there is interest in the case. One can present themselves as a journalist, filmmaker or something to that extent.

2. PROTESTS

Peaceful protests, holding signs like "Free Marko!", "Stop the violence on Marko Franciškovic", "Marko Franciškovic - hero, not a terrorist!", "I am Marko!" or something like that in front of the Croatian Embassy, with photos and videos of the event.
